Paleo Chinese Food

Chinese food is so dangerous – It smells good, tastes delicious and is so very convenient.. We covered our Pizza cravings with Chebe Pizza mixes and have that down to an ART but when the hankering for Chinese food struck we were S.O.L.

Well luckily for me my Husband has been feeling very inventive in the kitchen lately and tonight MASTERED the art of Paleo General Tso Chicken and Cauliflower rice! It was amazing!! He was a little nervous but it came out literally perfect. And we are here to share his concoction with you ❥


Paleo General Tso Chicken


  • 1 lbs Chicken Tenders/Breasts
  • 1 Cup Almond Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt / Pepper (To Taste)
  • Cajun Seasoning (Optional)
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients. Crack eggs into separate bowl.
  3. Dredge chicken through egg and roll in dry ingredients.
  4. Drop into pan and cook for 4 minutes each side or until cooked through.


  • 4 tsp Arrowroot Powder
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Aminos
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger, minced
  • Sesame Seeds (To Taste)
  1. Add balsamic vinegar, aminos, coconut sugar, coconut oil, sesame oil, and ketchup into a medium pot.
  2. Once it heats up add in the Arrowroot powder and honey or until desired thickness (More thick than runny so it sticks to your chicken better).
  3. Add ginger and garlic.
  4. Roll chicken in sauce and plate.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds over chicken.
  6. Enjoy!


Cauliflower Rice

  • Cauliflower (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • Salt / Pepper (To Taste)
  1. Using blender or chopper til desired cauliflower fineness.
  2. Over medium heat pour olive oil into pan til hot.
  3. Add cauliflower, salt, pepper to taste. Continuously stir.
  4. Cook rice til brown (Around 6-9 minutes)
  5. Check often, can burn quickly!
